Mental Health Awareness For The Public Sector

Half & Full Day

Suitable for individuals working with children or teenagers. Fire, police, prison and off-shore services. Voluntary sector and civil servants.

The charity Mind has revealed that public sector mental ill health has a higher prevalence than in the private sector. Mental health issues are on the rise and are more likely than ever to impact on our places of work. Staff working in the public sector are increasingly exposed to anxiety, burnout and disruption. Aligned Minds will support your workforce to understand and manage mental health effectively by providing a positive culture and clear avenues for support

Aim – This workshop will explore basic mental health awareness. We will focus on prevention and early intervention by identifying those at risk. We will look at practical solutions to manage mental health issues and learn how to communicate concerns sensitively and access appropriate support. In addition, this workshop looks at the psychological impact these roles can have on us as individuals and how to maintain mental health resilience.
